Analysis of grain size distribution evolution of steel during recrystallization and grain growth

چکیده

Controlling the hot rolling process requires a deep understanding of underlying metallurgical phenomena. Quantitative methods are paramount importance for achieving capability controlling microstructural evolution. Since final mechanical properties steel result from evolution in whole process, analysis microstructure provides an important input numerical simulations that can be used tailoring steel. The grain size distribution low-carbon CrNiMnB ultrahigh-steel austenitic state is studied forming and annealing using experimental data obtained with Gleeble 3800 thermo-mechanical simulator. A general method described utilized to systematically compare distributions studies. has been laser scanning confocal microscopy images mean linear intercept method. custom-made semi-automatic software rapidly reliably.
